About me

My name Juan Lorenzo Arellano and I have extensive experience with technology, data bases, virtualization, storage and mission critical services. Nevertheless, I am kind of new in the Data Science domain but I got captivated by its essence and power.

I started learning R in 2019 and after the initial hurdles of learning anything for first time, I very rapidly managed to analyze technical datasets that had financial implications at work, that allowed me to get powerful insights we didn’t get before with traditional methods and tools like Excel.

This experience blew my mind and since then I am learning every day.

About this site

I intend to keep posting articles about tidyverse, data.table, ggplot, shiny, R markdown, R blogdown, Git, etc. as time permits.
